Bright, breezy and full of happy anecdotes....Worth buying for Jol Byerley's chapter on the Windward and Leeward Islands alone. The authors have brought together all the experts on the different areas of the Caribbean even including the Western extremities and the Panama Canal. The contributors manage to impart their knowledge with humour and interest. Don't miss the account of the Anguillan revolution. I wish I had had this book with me when in the area last year, but I should still like to have a copy to bring back memories.
