About the Author
About the author -- Michael L. McCoy was raised in the woods near Battle Ground, Washington and worked in his uncle's and grandfather's sawmills at an early age. He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers (1966-1969). He has served as pastor at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Emmett, Idaho since 1984. He is the author of "Creation vs. Evolution" (1990), "The Bestman, the Bride and the Wedding" (1998) and "A Little One Amidst the Shadows" (1999).
About the artist -- Anisa Baucke has served as teacher at the Evanjelicke Gymnasium in the city of Tisovec of the Slovak Republic where she taught English and Art. She graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science and Lutheran Teaching Diploma in Art Education K-12 and in Elementary Education. She is an artist in residence in Lincoln, Nebraska.
