About the Author
Although a mechanical engineer by profession, Marcus Libkind is an avid outdoorsman. In his free time he explores the outdoors by foot, canoe, raft, and of course, skis. His love for the wilderness and its winter beauty has led him to spend almost 30 years in search of new and interesting ski tours. As a founding member of Snowlands Network, he is actively involved in preserving and protecting winter wildlands that are threatened.
