Maritha is the author of eight books on the topic of astrology (Encounter Astrology, Astrology the Next Step: Complete Horoscope Interpretation, Easy Astrology Guide, Healing with the Horoscope, Planets on the Move, Your Starway to Love, Past Lives, Future Choices: The Astrology of Reincarnation and Unveiling Your Future; Progressions Made Easy) along with numerous booklets and computerized interpretations for personalized astrological reports. Maritha has her B.A. (in Psychology) from the University of California, Berkeley (Phi Beta Kappa), her M.A. (in Clinical Psychology) from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles and is an ordained minister of the Los Angeles Community Church of Religious Science. I was very surprised that the content of this book held my interest so well. Details about past lives that I could connect with.

I expected this book to be full of generalizations to fit anybody. It wasn't, I didn't want to put it down. It is fasinating to me to think of what past life/lives may have shaped my choices in the present. For myself, a couple of examples were just so close to home. A continual artist theme was one, an eyesight defect another. A strong interest in nature.

I also read about family members, the information that described them perfectly. The strong influence past lives made on the way they are today. I had to laugh at some examples, they were not what I would have guessed but the results seem to have been the same.

I reccommend this book to anyone who has ever said "No one taught me, but this makes sense" or "What did I do to deserve this?" The only reason this book got a 4* instead of a 5* from me is the way Astrology is directly accountable for these examples. This is the first astrology anything I have picked up in years, and to read that the two are linked so closely, and the results could be accurate startles me. I find it interesting and puzzleing.

I would like to learn more.
