Open Borders Did Not Happen By Accident! It is an agenda!, August 23, 2004
This book picks up where Pat Buchanan and Peter Brimelow left off in _Death of the West_ (2001) and _Alien Nation_ (1995) respectively. Ironically, William Hawkin's book was written before those groundbreaking classics on the immigration problem in 1994. Peter Brimelow has pointed out, "the U.S. immigration floodgates have not jammed on open by accident. A variety of groups are quietly working to keep it that way." William Hawkins sets out to reveal who the proponents of the open borders agenda are. He also reveals their machinations through the years have manipulated public policy on the immigration issue and in dealing with INS misadministration and the sizable illegal alien problem.
Groups such as the radical far-left National Lawyers Guild (NLJ) have used their growing muscle to serve the open borders agenda. The CIA and FBI had previously declared this group to nothing more than a pro-communist, Soviet-sponsored front group. It is no big secret, if you dig through Marxist-Leninist literature that they believe the West can be vanquished and weakened through immigration. They see the growth of a transnational immigrant proletariat in industrialized nations as a key to foment and further the cause of communist revolution. That was the clandestine goal behind their supporting the open borders agenda in the West and the U.S. Such groups as MALDEF, NLJ, and the ACLU, under the banner of "immigrant rights" have pushed for access to costly taxpayer-funded social services for illegal aliens and resident aliens while actively pushing for more legal hamstrings on local, state and federal law enforcement in their efforts to curb the illegal alien problem and enforce the laws on the books. If you follow the money trail, many radical groups since the sixties have found their financial backing from internationalist think tanks like the Carnegie Endowment for Peace and the Ford Foundation. Hawkins documents this with clarity. It is not surprisingly that Henry Ford's grandson left the Ford Foundation board, protesting that it has become the fountainhead of radical leftist, anti-capitalist causes.
This book is very academic and technical in nature; not surprisingly it is lacking in fluid readability. If this book were updated a decade later, an appending chapter might point out how the WSJ big business establishment has joined the open borders bandwagon. The WSJ is rife with glowing editorials advocating a customs, political and economic union with Latin America and Canada. Ironically, the dependency of agribusiness on cheap labor and hi-tech companies on foreign H1-B workers, have turned a considerable part of the Republican Party (particularly in California) into special interest pawns of the open borders agenda. They turn a blind eye to lack of enforcement and keep the legal channels of immigration wide open to Third World immigrants. They have no intention of meaningful immigration reform to avert the demographic disaster befalling America in the twenty-first century. George W. Bush lives under the delusion that the sizable population of first generation Hispanic immigrants is going to whimsically turn into a Republican constituency (owing perhaps to the presence of a diminutive anti-communist, pro-GOP Cuban community in South Florida.)
America's survival as a nation is contingent upon addressing the immigrant question and not having the debate clouded by Neo-Marxist radicalism and liberal egalitarianism. This book may be overly technical and a somewhat boring matter-of-fact presentation profiling the groups behind the open borders agenda, but it is redeemed by the content.

A Must Read Book For Every American, May 17, 2009
William Hawkins does an excellent job at explaining who is behind the open borders our nation suffers from. There are several groups who push for open borders:
- The cheap labor crowd (eg. U.S. Chamber of Commerce, etc). Their motivation is mindless greed... cheap labor = more profits. They don't think about the social consequences of open borders since they live in safe, gated communities.
- The government of Mexico and Mexican-loyalists living in the USA (MALDEF, LULAC, NCLR, etc). Their motivation is to one day retake the Southwest and to "hispanisize" the rest of the United States.
- Organized Jewry (ACLU, SPLC, ADL, WJC, etc). Their goal for the past 80+ years has been to turn the USA into a multicultural nation, making sure whites are one day reduced to a minority. Jews, in their usual paranoia, feel they'll be safer in a multicultural America in which no ethnic group is above 50% (Jews will then just be another minority group in such a future America). Jews also view white Christian gentiles as their historic enemy, so they feel some satifaction in eroding WASP culture and reducing WASP's demographic numbers.
- Alter-globalists (ie. Marxists, Trotskyites, Socialists, etc). Their goal is to destroy the nation-state, erase all borders throughout the world, unify all the world's workers, and build a utopian society in which everyone is equal. They want a central world government (probably the UN) running things based on the ideology of Secular Humanism. I've studied Alter-globalists for years and spoken to hundreds of them. Most are actually well-meaning people who truly want justice for the world's poor, but, alas, they are extremely naive. One final point about Alter-globalists - they view the Western world as the cause of the rest of the world's troubles and hence it's their mission to destroy all Western nations in order to realize "global utopia".
- Economic globalists (eg. Rockefellers, Rothschild's, Bilderbergers, the "free" trade crowd such as those behind the World Trade Organization, international bankers, etc). Their goal is to erase borders, dissolve all nation-states, have one currency for the entire world, one constitution for the entire world, a global army, and a President of the world. In other words, a New World Order (NWO). Unlike Alter-globalist who are mostly well meaning people, economic globalists are driven 100% by greed, power, and control. They have ZERO concern for humanity and would see fit to enslave much of the world's population.
So, these are the different groups behind open borders. It is CRITICAL to understand that the economic globalists are at the top, they are driving all of this.
IMPORTANT POINT: Economic globalists use Alter-globalist organizations to do much of the "trenchwork" necessary for the NWO to be realized one day. By "trenchwork" I mean: keeping our borders wide open, gradually reducing national sovereignty, advancing multiculturalism, promoting feminism in order to help tear down the family, attacking religion, attacking men (especially white men), attacking free speech to stifle dissent, promoting perversion via Hollywood/popular culture (to further tear down the family), and transferring authority from the traditional family + church to the government.
Clearly, organizations like the Ford Foundation carry out the Alter-globalists agenda (ie. leftist social engineering). This is evidenced by the fact that the Ford Foundation ONLY funds radical leftist organizations. But, ULTIMATELY, the Ford Foundation (and similar think tanks mentioned in the book) funds leftist social engineering organizations because such social engineering is necessary "trenchwork" for the NWO to be realized one day (perhaps 100 years from now). Incidentally, I doubt any of the radical leftist groups funded by the Ford Foundation realize they're being used as tools to tear down traditional society in order to pave the way for global tyranny (the NWO). They are simply happy to get their funding to advance whatever leftist agenda they are about (eg. gay marriage, radical feminism, open borders, etc).
Lastly, the above subversive scheme is being executed on ALL white Western nations in the same manner (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and all of Western Europe) since the white Western world is the #1 obstacle standing in the way of the NWO.
