2.0 out of 5 stars Small part good, large part wasted paper, April 11, 2009
By J. Taylor (North Idaho) - See all my reviews
There were a few good ideas in here, but nothing I haven't heard covered in more detail, and more clearly elsewhere. The small amount of useful/interesting social criticism and political philosophy contained in this book could have easily been put into a pamphlet.

Most of the book was taken up with artsy, yuppie philosopher nonsense, and bickering about how ignorant Libertarian/Marxist/Mass-Organization anarchists are ... I agree that these people are often ignorant, but reading through an entire book serving the purpose of mocking them and responding to their illogical and meaningless criticisms of "The Abolition of Work" was hardly useful/entertaining/educational -- definitely not worth spending $7 on.

5.0 out of 5 stars bob bites back!!, July 16, 1999

The world's greatest Watsonian anarchist spills the beans on the petty and polarised mess that is modern anarchism.
