The humor in the delivery provides the sugar to take down the medicine. These are truthful observations, some uncomfortably so. But like the truth, they are immutable. Right or left, the truth is right down the middle. A good and important work wrapped in a humorous package...a wolf in sheep's clothing. Buy it.

You've probably seen joke books and limerick books. You've also probably seen political commentary. But (as Ronald Reagan once said), You ain't seen nuttin' yet!... until you've seen Politickles! Politickles is the hilarious book by F.R. Duplantier of "America's Future". These limericks will make you laugh, but more importantly, they will make you THINK. (And unfortunately, there are too many people in this country who seem to be incapable of doing neither.) Politickles has nearly a hundred limericks, plus accompanying drawings by Ken Jacobson, and a special bonus of a nearly four-page poem called "Taxpayer's Lament" that should be required reading at the opening of every new Congress.
