About the Author
A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Stephen Goldberg subsequently trained in Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Family Medicine. He has done research on neuronal development and regeneration and taught neuroanatomy for over 25 years at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he has received numerous teaching awards and presently is Professor Emeritus. As a family physician, neurologist, and ophthalmologist, he has adopted a unique clinical approach to the teaching of neuroanatomy in this book, which has been translated into many languages and has sold over 350,000 copies.
