5.0 out of 5 stars Probability is NOT too advanced for third graders!, April 1, 2000
This thorough and thoughtful book emphasizes critical thinking through careful exploration of Probability. Hands-on, minds-on group activities combine with effective classroom lessons to create a wonderful unit plan. I taught a 4 week unit to a class of third graders using this book as my guide and the class didn't want to stop learning probability!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Winner, April 27, 2009

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Written with marilyn Burns' usual format and attention to details. Teachers will find it well thought out, having rich lessons with black line master included in the text. Similar to her other Math Solutions publications, this text is strongly imbedded in NCTM standards.
