It is an autobiographical story of the authors life and the ultimate suicide of her only son. It deals with the issues following a suicide in a family. It is very reflective in, and includes statistics and resources regarding the issue of suicidce.


About the Author

Joyce Gatson is a board certified professional counselor in Phoenix, Arizona. She works for Paradise Valley Community College as a counselor and faculty member. She is the founder and director of Youth Suicide Prevention Education Programs. A nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of suicide through education and information to all public areas, in particular youth adults. She resides in Phoenix with her husband, Mike Gatson, who is a certified public accountant.

I fill the same way one of my friends cometed suicide. Some times I write suicide notes and I think about it alot. I never acsually done anything. But like all of my friends think about it and we all just sit around in the school gym and talk about death and what it will fill like.
