Editorial Reviews
Book Description
There were three revolutions that led to Texas Independence. The first, the Spanish revolt against French occupation of Spain in 1808, led to the second, the Mexican revolt against Spanish occupation of Mexico in 1810.

Out of the second came the third, the Texas Revolution in 1836. The heroes of the Texas Revolution are presented through biographies and renderings and their stories convey the reader through the numerous and horrible battles that ultimatly led to Texas Independence.

About the Author
Mary Ann Noonan-Guerra is the author of books on San Antonio, Texas and Texas history. Her unique presentation of facts through early photographs and renderings and her concise biographies and histories of the events that shaped Texas are accessible to all lovers of history.
