Conversations with Matthew Fox ( The Coming of the Cosmic Christ , HarperCollins, 1988), Marsha Sinetar ( Living Happily Ever After, Villard: Random, 1990), Ram Dass (a familiar voice from the 1960s), theoretical physicist David Bohm, and Merlin Stone ( When God Was a Woman , HBJ, 1978), are the highlights. Toms is a profoundly sensitive interviewer, fully attuned to his subjects' ideas, and deftly responsive to their current concerns. This collection provides an excellent glimpse at the "leading edge" for public and academic libraries. Highly recommended.
