Although this book is reader-friendly it is also profound in its understanding that the kind of human/animal relatedness that was ordained by God at the time of creation has been perverted by mankind. And as long as people continue to treat God's other creatures as "things" that can be tormented and killed to satisfy their own greed and lusts, they will continue to reap the effects of such violence in their own lives: "Be not deceived, God is not mocked.
