1.0 out of 5 stars Beware! These Characters are Fictional., July 16, 2008
This book is *not* the historical memoir that it purports to be.

It has been denounced by several experts in this topic area, including the President of the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps Association and the President of the NSW Ex-POW Association. (In a joint protest letter to the Australian Library and Information Association, InCite Magazine, January 27, 1984.)

Their comments about this book include:
- "unpardonable"
- "hurtful"
- "a tissue of lies"
