From Library Journal
The author drove more than 65,000 miles, visiting, playing, and/or touring courses in the Pacific Northwest. His resulting guide lists 400 golf courses and driving ranges, covering geographically linked sections of entire states such as Washington and Oregon, plus Idaho's Panhandle, Sun Valley, and northwestern Montana. Each detailed chapter opens with a map showing the facilities and whether they are public, semiprivate, or private. Important information given for all courses includes fees, rentals and services, lessons, photos, addresses/phone numbers, par and course ratings, walk-on chances, and much more. A fine golf directory for serious use or casual browsing, recommended for all libraries within the area, and those with patron interest in golf vacations.
