Ms Miller's second book, Canine Adventures, is just about guaranteed to get you involved in at least one or two fun activities with your dog, either formal or informal. What better way to have a great time with your pet than participating in some of these 'adventures.' Part I helps you choose those pursuits that may be best suited to the personalities of you and your dog along with providing 'how to' information on canine conditioning, maintenance, and training. One of my favorites, Chapter 6, covers safely enjoying the great outdoors with your pet.

Part II, Quick Peeks, gives overviews of 34 potential activities and sports for you and your dog. Each includes an excellent rating system designed to assist you in your decision making: the level of commitment and training needed to participate; physical fitness; time and money investments. A list of books and resources is also included when more in depth information and/or equipment is required.

This book provides the motivation to get you and your dog off the couch and out the door to share that perfect activity. One that will fit your budget and your capabilities while providing fun times together for the two of you. Enjoy!
