Testimony of the Twentieth Century is a documentary book which presents firsthand interviews of individuals who were involved in Nazi War, and its postwar consequences today. Encompassing the major historical events throughout the century, this book conveys the diverse voices of different ethnics - Germans, other Europeans, Americans, and the Jews - all one volume. Each text is accompanied by a portraiture-photograph of the interviewee.

About the Author
Marie Ueda is a Japanese-born photojournalist who specializes in international news coverage. She had studied western civilization and history of arts at three universities: Queensland(Australia), Madrid(Spain), Lisbon(Portugal), and began her career covering Portuguese Revolution for The Guardian Newspapaer of London, England. After moving to the United States, as a foreign correspondent, she has been covering American news only for overseas media, primarily for Japan. This is her first book. She lives in San Francisco, Califronia.
