"Beginners Best Shot at Video Poker" by Bob Maxwell tells it all. A fine get-started book, complete with illustration of hands you'll see on the machines. Maxwell follows up with advice on which hands to hold and which ones to discard. This volume focuses on machines that pay on Jacks or Better. It explains the difference between draw poker and video poker playing strategies. It tells you how to evaluate video poker hands, plain and simple. If you are just learning video poker including the basics this might make a nice supplement but I found it to be oversimplified and in desperate need of supplemental reading.
