About the Author
Robert Kravetz is an advid baseball fan and historian. He is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research and a recent advisor to ESPN on their Mickey Mantle documentary. He has played, coached, and umpired youth baseball and softball at local, regional and national levels. Growing up in Upstate N.Y., he wanted to "Be" Mickey Mantle, like tens of millions of other fans across America. He has written two baseball books and donates all of the proceeds to various organizations that support youth sports.
