Product Description
MORE Incredible things for you in Vol. II . . .

This sequel to our bestselling 300 Incredible Things to Do on the Internet (Volume I) has been published due to the continued remarkable growth of the Internet.

Now you can double your surfing pleasure by exploring the second wave of incredible Web sites described in this Volume II. And if you have not had the pleasure of using Volume I or the other books in the 300 Incredible series, by all means check them out.

Many readers call these books "the disappearing book." Typically, someone buys the book and shows it to a friend, co-worker or family member, who then "borrows" it for an indefinite period. Just like that, it's gone.

Go ahead, buy this book for yourself or a friend, then gather everyone around the computer and let your incredible journey begin. You might want to get an extra copy...so you'll still have one after the first one vanishes.

About the Author
Incredible! That's what they say about "Mr. Internet," a.k.a. Ken Leebow, who has spent thousands of hours surfing the Internet. His "greatest hits" are compiled in his highly successful series, 300 Incredible Things to Do on the Internet, which has sold over ONE MILLION copies. Leebow, one of the country's leading experts on "site-seeing," is on a mission to save people time, money, and energy.

Considered an Internet-savvy, lively personality, Ken has been extensively featured in the media nationwide including USA TODAY, hundreds of radio shows, and appearances on CNN's Talk Back Live, CNN Interactive, CNN's College Television Network, CNN's Airport Channel, and nationally on FOX NEWS.

As a computer and timesaving analyst, Ken also appears weekly on-air on NBC Affiliate WXIA-TV Channel 11's Morning News as the Internet Connection Expert reporting on news features and related sites.

Leebow is a true entrepreneur whose impressive career reflects his personality--high energy and a low tolerance for boredom. Leebow's career has taken him from CPA to computer software consultant to entrepreneur and now to author. His journey began in 1977 when Leebow graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in accounting. After two years of work in the accounting field, Leebow decided that crunching numbers was not for him.

It was at his next job, working for a large financial software company in Atlanta, that Leebow discovered his love for computers. In 1984, Leebow left the financial software company to found his own consulting practice. This solo venture continued successfully for sixteen years, affording him the opportunity to work with computers and software. While operating as an independent consultant, Leebow launched another entrepreneurial venture. This time, his focus was on a little known technology called voicemail. In 1989, Leebow founded VIP (Voice Information Processing) and began renting out voicemail boxes to companies. He continues to operate VIP today.

VIP, run mostly by computer systems, affords Leebow with more time for his new passion--the Internet. In 1996, Leebow began publishing an online newsletter called The Leebow Letter. In addition to some editorial articles, the creative newsletter also offered readers the addresses to Leebow's favorite Internet sites. A little over a year later, Leebow realized he had compiled an impressive list of "incredible" websites, which were in great demand.

In 1997, Leebow decided to incorporate his list of websites into a book titled, 300 Incredible Things to Do on the Internet. He self-published his book in July of 1997 and printed 500 copies. What began as part of a newsletter is now an award-winning, Best Selling series.

In July 1999, Leebow co-founded 300Incredible.com, LLC, located in Atlanta, Georgia, along with Mark Krasner and Janice Caselli. The company oversees Leebow's innovative new series, which has helped millions of individuals and businesses navigate the Internet in a simpler, more productive manner--while having fun. In addition to Volume I of 300 Incredible Things to Do on the Internet, the initial series includes a book for kids, which won the 1998 Best Seller Award in its category by Amazon.com, as well as books for Sports Fans, Golfers, Travelers, and a book for Health, Fitness & Diet enthusiasts, that was co-authored with health and fitness expert Peter Lupus, star of TV's Mission Impossible series.

Now, due to popular demand and record-breaking sales, Leebow continues his search for the best websites in a newly released Volume II, 300 MORE Incredible Things to Do on the Internet. Future volumes will cover topics including Auto Racing, Self-Help and Wellness, and Learning (titles available March 2000) followed by books for Pet Lovers, Senior Citizens, and Home Improvement enthusiasts (titles available June 2000).

When he's not on the 'Net, Leebow enjoys playing tennis, running, reading, and spending time with his family. Leebow lives in Atlanta with his wife, two teenagers, two cats, and a dog.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is One of the Greatest Internet Gifts Available!, June 28, 2000
By Jim Moran (Chicago) - See all my reviews
The Internet has provided people with many more opportunities to do things since the first edition of this little book came out in 1998. Ken Leebow has come up with another great collection of useful online resources and fun things to do.

This book is another compilation in the series of Incredible Things to do... books. Readers are invited to learn about taking care of their computers, sound investing, managing their homes, MP3 music, playing crossword puzzles, searching online, smart shopping, and more. Readers are also be able to view Webcams located around the world, read up on dumb laws and urban legends, find jobs, find travel information, and do many more things!

This book offers helpful information that people can really use. It makes an ideal gift for folks who surf the Internet for fun, business, and pleasure. It's compact, concise, and very easy to read. It will also make an excellent promotional give-away item at parties, tradeshow exhibits, special business functions, and other events. It can be customized for any company and organization. This is one of the greatest Internet gifts available!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for my cousin!, August 20, 2005
By Jose NY! (NY, USA) - See all my reviews
Well, I have purchased now a few books from this site and most of them have been pretty good. If you have a cousin( or aunt or mother or anything...hahaha)who is "intimidated" about computers and you want you to give her advise as to where to go, you can get this simple yet interesting book. This is a secret==> it got my aunt off my back for a couple of weeks..hahaha this was great! and for that, I thank the book!
