5.0 out of 5 stars POETRY, June 13, 2000
By A Customer
"Making it snow in the sub-tropics is a task for the gods. Dave Brinks makes big, fat, lyrical snowflakes that keep coming down, and that will last as long as poetry does. Snowmaker Brinks is a New Orleans treasure."

-- Andrei Codrescu

"Dave's book is like antimony, porphyritically similar to titanium, but actually quite amethyst-ish."

5.0 out of 5 stars Intimate Frozen Grazing, September 8, 2001
By A Customer
It's a wonder with words like these that the sun decides to leave the plates behind long enough to cause a chill. This and other things are all true about New Orleans poets who dream so big.
