Review
The longer I'm in astrology the more I'm impressed by creative presentation of the basics. WOW's dynamic analysis includes a very useful bar graph mapping the influence of the particular event over a three-year period. You can go through the entire chart on screen, factor by factor, clicking on the horoscope with the mouse for an interpretation, or print out a professionally designed report with text for the factors you select. The chart wheels are equally beautiful, with nice big glyphs and clear information tables. With WOW you can also view interpretations for the here and now rather than for a birth chart. Print options include excerpting the text database general information, not keyed to a specific chart, such as general description of the 7th house. I really like the developer's approach to writing interpreted text - one carefully crafted and balanced interpretation applying to both the "good" and "bad" aspects.
WOW view options include a colourful and tastefully designed chart wheel;... You can customise the contents and length of a report by choosing to print or not to print a table of contents, a wheel, a birth analysis, a transit analysis, and a simple explanation, from a personal or professional perspective, or from both perspectives. You can also customise the report layout with WOW's built-in designer. You can define aspect orbs for reports, which can include strong aspects only; medium and strong; or weak, medium, and strong aspects. Dynamic analysis options let you choose the aspects and planets you want to use in the report.
WOW includes context-sensitive help and a useful manual, carefully geared towards the beginner. I've had a lot of fun with the program, browsing interpretations for myself, family, and famous people. While reviewing WOW I was reminded of how I read interpretations of famous people's charts in order to learn astrology - I wish now I had had such a software tool to expedite my education in interpreting a chart. I strongly recommend WOW, not only for the beginner, but as an artful reminder to the professional of the architecture of the birth chart. -- Mountain Astrologer Magazine , November 95
