Product Description

Here is another visual feast from award-winning artist Michel Gagne. His sixth book, Frenzied Fauna: From A to Z, presents an alphabetical tour of the animal kingdom -- warped through Gagne's vivid Imagination, that is. Never before has there been a menagerie so wild, wonderful, winsome -- and weird.

Hardcover, 8" x 10", Full Color, 32 Pages

About the Author

Michel Gagne was born in Québec, Canada, in 1965. He studied animation at Sheridan College School of Visual Arts in Ontario, Canada.

In 1985, he began a highly successful career drawing characters and special effects for animated and live-action feature films. His 3 ½ minute independent short film Prelude to Eden is a favorite among animation students and teachers and has played in festivals throughout the world. Michel was honored by the International Animated Film Society, ASIFA Hollywood, with four Annie Award nominations. He continues to design and consult on major motion pictures.

In addition to his film work, Michel is a dedicated fine artist who sculpts, paints and creates mixed media works. Yet another book by author/artist Michel Gagne'. I have them all and this one did not disappoint. I like it my wife likes it and my kids cant put it down. The drawings are what to expect from Mr. Gagne', his style his art his unique way of doing a book. I would recommend this to anyone who has loved his past books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very imaginative, March 21, 2003
By A Customer
This guy never ceases to amaze me. I gave this book to all my friends for Christmas, and everyone loved it. It's wacky, surreal, funny and imaginative. The perfect coffee table book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cute kids book, December 8, 2003
By A Customer
Although the layout and drawing skills of the artist are sub-par, this book will amuse your children (although it's for 6 and under). What it lacks in imagination, it makes up for in a childs interest in monsters. Cute for a quick read, but not one for the library.
