About the Author
Bill Schultz's life has been children. He grew up in a close knit family with three brothers and a sister. Their home was always open to friends and church youth groups.
At Age 19, Bill became the founding President of Active Christian Teens, an organization that has grown to thousands of members throughout Minnesota.
In 1972 he became the first full-time Director of Lutheran Island Camp and continued in that role for 13 seasons. In addition to working with nearly 20,000 young people during those years, he had time to start his own family of lovely wife Judy and three nearly perfect children, Will, Ben, and Heather.
Ove the next 14 years Bill experienced careers in dairy farming, insurance sales, consulting, The United Way, First Call Minnesota, and is currently the executive director of the Good Shepherd Foundation.
