Editorial Reviews
Book Description
The Guide To Digital Television, second edition, is not designed to be a "how to" book as much as it is a "what to do" book. Broadcast and video professionals already know how to do their jobs; our goal is to provide a practical guide for the transition from analog to digital, a tool to help you make the right decisions for your unique situation. Consider it your textbook for the class DTV 101. The Guide To Digital Television, second edition, has been organized to follow the typical production cycle from pre-production to delivery and transmission. New sections for the second edition address HDTV production concerns, DTV interference, new audio developments, and new industry technical specifications. Plus, the glossary has been expanded to include more than 400 terms and additional appendices provide in-depth discussion of specific areas of industry concern.
