"The Wheel of Destiny" is highly recommended reading for all serious students and practitioners of tarot divination and metaphysical studies." --
James Cox, Midwest Book Review, October 1999I bought your book and did my Master Spread. I'm amazed by my reading. Thanks for writing this book." --
Sandra Jensen, Toronto, CanadaPatricia McLaine is a well trained Tarot reader who uses the BOTA system and gives credit to directors Paul Foster Case and Ann Davies for all their work. However, McLaine has her own way of laying the cards in a 22 card spread which is not traditional and does not relate to the usual interpretation.
Mclaine is a learned Tarot reader who has updated the ancient methods and added a sprinkling of New Age ideas, and she's done a good job of it. She has allowed the BOTA message to work through her and then improved on it with her own insights.
In summation, BOTA students will find this book a nice companion to their work, while others find it provocative throughout. John S. Woodsmall -- Aspects Book Review
The Wheel of Destiny is a comprehensive book on the Major Arcana that contains astrological comparisons and Qabalistic correspondences which enable the reader to learn to more accurately interpret a tarot spread.
As a study on the Major Arcana with regards to indepth spreads for use with clients or self, The Wheel of Destiny becomes an excellent addition to one's tarot collection. Laura Cremeans -- Sagittarius Sun Times
This Master Spread evolved from an astrological layout and roughly represents the Wheel of the Zodiac overlaid on the Qabalistic Tree of Life. A working knowledge of astrology is helpful but not absolutely necessary to use this method to good advantage. Complete instructions are included for beginners in this well-designed manual which professionals will also appreciate. Cayli Levitan -- Omega New Age Directory
This is a significant work. As it covers the 22 Tarot trumps in each of the 22 possible positions in the Master Spread, it covers much ground; literally much paper too, for this is a nice thick tome of over 450 pages of insightful text and illustrations.
The subtitle claims: The Tarot reveals your master plan. Certainly I believe it can. More to the point, I believe with the help of Ms. McLaine's book to guide you, it does. Recommended to those who wish to understand the Tarot better and the way it can be used as tool on the voyage of self-discovery. J.L. -- Prediction, UK.
