Book Description
This booklet describes the process of adjudicating disability in the Social Security Administration. An individual who can't work because of injury or chronic Illness and applies for benefits under the Social Security can profit from this information. Lawyers and other representives of disability applicants would also benefit from this information.

About the Author
George R. Jarrell is Professor Emeritus of Rehabilitation Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Va. Since 1971, he has served as a Vocational Expert in the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals, Social Security Administration. He received the Master of Rehabilitation Counseling degree from the Universirty of Florida in 1961 and The Doctor of Philosophy from the University of South Carolina in 1970. Dr. Jarrell has conducted many in-service educational workshops for the legal profession on adjudicating disability.
