Product Description
Duxter's Leap is a fable about an everyday guy named Duxter Hexter whose life is out of balance. To alleviate his growing 'niggle' he answers a newspaper advertisement from a travel company that specializes in personal tours. So begins an extraordinary journey that will transform his life.

Along his way, he meets light, fun and hopeful characters who teach him how to take a leap of faith that will allow him to reclaim control of his life. The story is an awakening, a sharing and a personal and private conclusion that will motivate and move you forward. It shines a light into our thoughts, dreams and challenges.

No matter where you are in life, Duxter's Leap will provide you with a breather to reflect on your own journey and the Leap you know it's time to make.

From the Author
Are we living a reactive life where we continually make decisions in reaction to a past or present event or occurrence? Or are we seeking to live a creative and masterful life where we choose to act toward a goal or possibility? To live a masterful life means that no matter twhat positive or negative event one experiences, we know how to act because our strategy can include the event and our attitude is one of personal power and confidence. In a nutshell, this is the transformation Duxter makes. By the end of the book he is at peace.

This story has been written to evoke thought and contemplation; to provide you, the reader, with an opportunity to reflect upon your own possibility of a satisfying and complete life and the leap required to attain it. To assist the reader in applying the teachings from Duxter's Leap to his or her life, a 'Personal Reference Guide to Pursuing Your Possibility', a 21-day program, has been included in the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Jonathon Livingston Seagull like fable, February 2, 2003
By "rduxter" (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
I happened to find this book doing an Amazon.com search on my own name, Duxter. It was perfect timing for me, as I was preparing for a one month adventure vacation through Asia.

I read the book cover to cover (twice) on a beautiful island in the Gulf of Thailand, Ko Samat. With no distractions, I was able to use the analogies and examples from this book to apply to my own life.

Immediately upon my return to life in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I implemented the improvements and changes that came so clearly to me on the beach of that beautiful island.

I even went so far as to contact the author, based out of London, Ontario, Canada. Mostly to figure out how he came to use MY NAME for this book!!! I learned that the personalized license plate "DUXTER" is taken too ;). I understand that future printings of this book will be titled "The Leap", as customers weren't sure what a "Duxter" is.

An easy read, and will help you to take a look at your life decisions.

Sincerely,
Rob Duxter ...
