Product Description
Do you use Outlook 97 or Outlook 98? For the technical features that help you overcome email overload, Outlook 98 is not very different from Outlook 2000. Outlook 97 is a bit more limited.Much of this book is still applicable to you.
Do you use Outlook Express? Despite the similarity in the names, Outlook Express and Outlook are completely different programs. Outlook Express has a different user interface, different rule conditions and actions, a mailing list manager, and no voting buttons. This book applies to Outlook Express only slightly more than the Eudora version of this book does.
Do you Microsoft Outlook 2001 or Entourage (both on MacOS)? This book's research didn't cover those email programs. Much of the information is probably applicable, but there are differences. See the book's web page for details.
Do you use Eudora for Mac or Windows? Check out "Overcome Email Overload with Eudora 5: Get Through Your Electronic Mail Faster", also by Kaitlin Duck Sherwood. Of course, also available on Amazon.com.
Regardless of what email program you have, there is material in this book that can help you. About 60% of the book deals with non-technical strategies for getting through email faster. For example, you are less likely to get a response to one of your messages if you end your message with "No Reply Needed."
