Product Description

As we search for love in our lives, most of us often feel as though we’re on a journey without a compass - or even worse, with a faulty map. We are programmed from our earliest childhood experiences with scores of assumptions about love. We’re taught male and female roles, and ways of seeing ourselves, that may lead to separation, fear and mistrust. These many fallacies and misconceptions lead us to associate love with disappointment and pain.

In The Seven Natural Laws of Love, Dr. Deborah Anapol gives us a warm, simple and universal guide to the principles that are common to all loving relationships. Drawing from the stories of the thousands of individuals and couples she has counseled in her workshops and private practice, from her own personal struggles and victories, and from sacred texts, Dr. Anapol distills love down to its basic essentials. Based on real-world observations, she identifies the seven laws that flow naturally from the true nature of love, and shows how we can apply these to our lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars The next dimension in Love, September 16, 2005
By Ellen Todd (San Diego, CA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is about defining love in a way that frees us from the constraints of our culture, our personal baggage and our own limiting thoughts. The message is both mystically spiritual and practical, including simple tools and exercises to invoke this new experience of love.

The most startling truth for me was in Chapter Two, the section on "Longing for Love". Dr. Anapol explains the love I experience in the arms of my beloved doesn't come from him! It is in truth WHO I AM. I feel love when I am loving.

The concepts in this book are freeing me to experience loving relationships on a wholly new basis. Read it if you want more love in your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Take the falling out of 'falling in love', October 11, 2005
Deborah clearly defines the true lowest-common denominators about love and loving, that every religion, faith and philosophy recognizes, but that maybe we (as individuals) don't let ourselves live, much less acknowledge, on a daily basis for whatever reasons.

Of all the books written on love that I'm aware of and have read, 'The Seven Natural Laws of Love' is the ONLY one that tells the TRUTH about love...truth being that which cannot be argued about.

No need to 'fall' (implying an expectation of hurt) into love when each of us, already, is there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Making Way For Deeper Awareness of Love, September 17, 2005
This book from Dr. Anapol has been a pleasureful and powerful read. Each exercise brought her words of wisdom into the heart of my personal experience. I took every opportunity to practice the exercises presented.

This book offers practical ideas, as well as inspires one to feel a universal, mystical support amidst their journey into deeper awareness of Love. Dr. Anapol, in all her obvious experience and knowledge, never alienates the reader. She always remains one of us: a spiritual being sharing human love.

From grandparents to teenagers, co-workers to friends, this book will be my favorite gift to give to all those I care for this holiday season.
