About the Author

"The Best Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons" was born out of the author’s frustration over not one, but several, less than satisfactory plastic surgery results. When Christine Fullerton realized that the yellow pages is NOT the place to start a search for a qualified plastic surgeon she set out on a path to find the real scoop on the surgeons who were considered "best" in the field.

In 1988 Fullerton realized she had made the wrong choice for her first "nose job." Six surgeries later (with a nose that looked worse with each successive attempt) Fullerton had hit a dead-end in finding a surgeon she could trust to repair her nose.

Finally, she came up with the idea to survey the doctors themselves – to find out who really WAS the best at "fixing noses."

Remarkably, the surveys were returned quickly, with truly useful information. Not only had Fullerton discovered the best revision nose surgeons in her home city of San Francisco, she had also learned which surgeons were considered the best at breast implants, face lifts, liposuction, etc. AND it was almost never the same surgeon!

Because Fullerton felt this was such valuable information, she decided to do surveys in more cities, so that those looking for revision surgery – as well as those seeking surgery for the first time – might avoid all the years of frustration and disappointment she had endured!

A complete [loss]... As soon as I opened the box and saw the size of the book, I knew it was going to be skimpy. Washington DC has more plastic surgeons than any other city in the county and only 2 1/3 pages cover this city - ... Very few categories and very little information. ... There is no ISBN or bar code on the cover, no info on the author, no author listed on the spine - looks very unprofessional.

I was super excited awaiting this book because I read some good reviews on here. Once I received the book- it looked very flimsy and more like a brochure - nonetheless, I set out on my quest for the "best" doctor from this book. I visited a total of 4 doctors all of which the book suggested. I can't even begin to tell you what horrible choices all 4 were. One doctor was in a mad dash to get me to commit. Another was so unbelievably old his office was extremely dusty. Another didn't take the time - seemed preoccupied and lastly when I went into the other's office while I was in the waiting room - a woman came in complaining about the bad job he had done on her - needless to say I excused myself on out of there. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!! This author should be looked into for writing and marketing false adverting. Steer clear!!! don't waste your time or many!!!!!!!!

1 star because it was so easy to lift, as it is more of a pamphlet than a book. i dont believe the results since i live in los angeles and know a few things about these doctors..many of the best arent even listed...it is a waste and doesnt say how many dr.s answered and who exactly is this woman who wrote it? never says..very suspicious do not waste your money
