About the Author
Jerral Sapienza's fascination with handwriting started at age seven, when he first learned to write in cursive. Watching the variation in the way a teacher wrote on the board and how her moods changed became a captivating observation for Jerral even as a child.

Shortly out of high school he developed the abbreviated JAQS Style of handwriting sample on which this book is based and which has been his primary collection format since.

Working professionally first as a teacher of English and Foreign Languages, then as Systems Engineer and Business Consultant, Sapienza has always paid special attention to handwriting everywhere it appeared in his business and personal life.

THE HAND BEHIND THE WORD is a book which had been in process for decades.
