For Many Shall Come in My Name, July 8, 2007
Many, many thanks to Ray Yungen for doing what it takes to write this remarkable book. I have learned so much! Where does one begin to do this book justice? There is so much important information concerning the New Age, Holistic Health, Harry Potter, The Secret, Centering Prayer, Familiar Spirits, etc. etc. Unfortunately, the list goes on as there are so many deviant ideas sweeping through the churches today. Be assured, this book will help you to see your way clearly. Truly caring for all people, Ray Yungen is a watchman, "watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.". You will be blessed!

Watch out for the new age, December 27, 2007
This is an in-depth investigation into the new age teachings and movement that has invaded all aspects of American life from health care to our schools and businesses. From the 1960's that generation has been the catalyst for the current surge of the so called spiritual transformation that is now permeating our society.
Ray Yungen points out these false beliefs and the dangers of the new age teachings. He shows that when metaphysics is presented as a science, it possible for a person to not be aware of its spiritual influence.
Many new age teachers find by calling these occult activities "growth techniques" they are able to deceive people. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi did this with his Transcendental Meditation program emphsizing "the Science of Creative Intelligence" rather than mantra yoga which is what it really is. This is a very enlightening book. I give it an excellent rating.

New (Old) Age Mysticism Exposed, January 14, 2008
When his disciples asked Jesus, "Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of thy coming and the end of the world?" Jesus answered and said unto them, "Take head that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Did you know that many New (Old) Age believers are doing just that? They believe that Christhood is not something you come to at a point in the future when you are more evolved. Christhood is right now! I am the Christ of God. You are the Christ of God. These are extremely unscriptural and dangerous ideas that are permeating every area of society: religion, education, business, alternative healthcare, arts and media and self help.
The way to tap into this ancient wisdom that says we are all God, is the through the practice of centering prayer. Using a word, phrase or even centering on your breath you are to let go of all your thoughts or still or blank out your mind. Letting go of all your thoughts causes a shift in consciousness that allows you to get in touch with your higher self and tune into your divinity. Even though you aren't usually told this, such a process allows a demon to enter in. The demon can be given various titles such as your spirit guide. Even when given Christian titles this form of meditation is no different than Transendental Meditation. This type of meditation, which includes Yoga and Zen are borrowed from the Hindu and Buddahist faiths. The traditions which make up this eastern wave include Hinduism (India), Zen Buddhism (Japan),Tantric Bududdhism (Tibet), Sufism (Islam), and Kabbalah (Judaism). Now through various popular Christian teachers who promote meditation, such as Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, Richard Foster, Tony Compollo and others to numerous to list them all here it has stormed it way into the church.
When Yahweh (the Father's name in Hebrew) invites us to come and reason with Him (Isaiah 1:18), he isn't asking us to let go of all thoughts, but rather prayerfully consider what the Scriptures are saying. According to the Webster's Dictionary to reason means "to examine through debate or discussion." In such discussion you are actively thinking, not letting go of all thoughts.
To avoid being deceived by Old Age mysticism you need to arm yourself with the facts. This book does an excellent job of presenting those facts. Remember Old Age Spirituality began with Nimod at the tower of Babel. It's not ancient wisdom, but rather ancient deception from Satan.
