5.0 out of 5 stars thanks..., May 2, 2003
This review is from: In My Mother's Kitchen (Paperback)
I feel fortunate to have really gotten the message this book conveys... emptiness and hurt over someone you loved can really be healed by making a point to remember the sweet times you shared together! Seems simple, but I for one needed help to do it... thanks to the author for giving me such concrete, personal guidance in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you for your gentle guidance., April 11, 2003
Robin Edgar's book should be read by anyone who is dealing with the loss of a family member. It was a reminder of how to find and remember the goodness in relationships and experiences with those who have meant the most in our lives. It was a comfort to read her book and know that my feelings were somewhat universal. She is a gifted writer but, more importantly, understands our frailties and insecurities. Thank you Robin!

5.0 out of 5 stars My sister's laughter, March 30, 2003
By Sara Unrein (Tarboro, NC) - See all my reviews
Shortly after my sister passed away, I received this book. It was so tender and so helpful in returning my sister's laughter to my life. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who has a void in their life from the loss of a family member or dear friend. Also, I think it is a wonderful gift for those you love who have had a recent loss in their life.
