Product Description
Wouldn’t you rather make more money, enjoy life more, and get more done? Walt Disney created cartoons, animated features and feature films, and his most successful venture was the creation of Disneyland, followed by Walt Disney World. This book, by a Disney outsider, is an independent examination of Disney’s most powerful success secrets. It focuses on how Disney was able to create the first theme park and achieve financial success, and on the Disney company’s amazing management techniques. Whether you use these methods at home or in your business, you will refer to this book again and again.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World may be the best run businesses in the world, highly regarded for customer satisfaction and so successful they fund the shortfalls of the Disney studio and broadcast ventures. In this book a Disney "outsider" examines the Disney theme park business and reveals success secrets that everyone can use.

About the Author
Rich Hamilton writes on selling, marketing, and advertising. A former broadcast executive and newspaper reporter, Rich also has experience as a professional photographer and a systems analyst. He has trained hundreds of salespeople and helped many businesses with their marketing strategies.

Today, Rich consults and speaks on management skills that help create a sales-oriented company culture.

Rich has the unique ability to see business in ways most people miss.

He has a special passion for the Disney business model, and has been studying it since 1986. Rich delights in discovering new and old business methods in use at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

"Disneyland is special," Rich maintains. "It’s magic to walk the same streets that Walt Disney walked, to see the same buildings, the same attractions, even the same trees... though they’ve grown a lot in the last 35 years. When I go to Disneyland I try to see things the way Walt would see them, and experience the park as if I was his personally invited guest."

It’s said that touring Disneyland with Rich is a real treat, with his special understanding of the structure and history. One business associate said, "Rich pointed out things that I’d never realized were there. We met cast members and visited about things I’d never imagined. I began to look at Disneyland in a whole new, exciting way."

2.0 out of 5 stars No where near as good as the other Disney business books, December 1, 2007
For $20.00, just the size of the book is disappointing. Barely 100 pages of content, I find the content to be insubstantial, especially compared to all of the other Disney business books that were available. This one seemed to be written by a "wanna be" author expert of Disney. I found nothing compelling or noteworthy in this authors book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Making your business fun., July 22, 2004
By Kendra Trahan (Windermere, FL) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Rich Hamilton's book Disney Magic, Business Strategy You Can Use At Work and At Home, is a refreshing look at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The first time I read the book I outlined it because I felt there were so many areas that I could improve my professional and personal approach to things. What a wonderful surprise to hear he gives lectures to supplement the book and he has an internet site to enjoy once you've read the book. Although its a business book, it reads like Disney fun. One thing is for certain, Rich really pays attention to how the Parks are run. Buy his book and capture his thoughts for yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Disney Secrets Revealed Profit Businesses!, October 31, 2003
By Rick Hubbard (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Richard Hamilton's uniquely valuable work clearly and quickly equips all business owners, leaders, managers and employees with the ability to enjoy Disney-like success for their businesses.

Hamilton's in-depth analysis of the "Business Magic of Disney" is immediately useful to the reader. His minute study of Disney principles is exceeded only by his singular ability to explain those principles in a context all readere will benefit from.

Here's just some of the things in this book you can use immediately:
*The "Guestology" section (p. 62), great way to improve the customer experience of any business.
*Magic Moments section (p. 66), extraordinary insight into what a business really does for customers and how to create a unique experience unmatchable by competitors.
*Fanatic Cards (p. 86), the easiest way--with no cost--to improve customer service...and make everyone involved and accountable. Brilliant! All at no cost...worth 1,000x the price of the book alone.

Recommended only for leaders, managers and business-owners that want to strengthen customer involvement, develop a more efficient & capable staff, and dramatically improve their profitability.
