Review
What really made this story work for me, though, was the first chapter. We get to know the "villain" of the piece, Roark Dexter Smith, and while it's clear he's corrupt and even detestable, he stood out as an interesting character. Baron writes him as more than an obsessed architect. He's a musician, a botanist and much more. --
Eye On ComicsIt's slickly produced, but the most interesting aspect is the decision to cast a Wright analog as the demonic bogeyman/slasher figure in a comic book ... --
Las Vegas WeeklyNo detail is insignificant, and the foundation upon which Baron constructs his tale is solid and entertaining, moving the story forward while dropping these incidental details along the way like bread crumbs in a forest. Readers may absorb the many pieces of the puzzle, but their importance will not be understood until the climax rushes upon them. --
