Product Description

PSST! Want to know the secret that only the smartest, wisest and most prosperous people know? This fourth book in the MAXWELL WINSTON STONE SERIES represents a recurrent theme that was selected to be written about by the best from every period of our world's history. It reminds us as to what may be the single most important ingredient to finding success. Call it persistence, determination, or perseverance, this vital trait reigns above even intelligence and luck. Or, as the wise, old philosopher Maxwell Winston Stone said, "Failure is the path of least persistence."

5.0 out of 5 stars Without Persistence, Zip Happens, June 9, 2008
The Maxwell Winston Stone Series now numbers seven--this edition could have been called The Failure Factor. No one succeeds without failing--whether it's a baby first learning to walk and falling down again and again; or someone like Steve Jobs, who was booted from Apple, failed at his next venture and then came back bigger and stronger than anyone could have imagine. Today, his business savvy is cheered by shareholders and consumers alike.

Each of the books in the series stands alone; each is a gem. Author Ernie Carwile has honed in on his topic with depth and at the same time, weaves his subject with simplicity and authority. A welcome addition to the too many books that the reader has to wade through chapter after chapter until a nugget is discovered.
