About the Author

Chris Crouch is the developer of the GO System training course. The course, widely taught in the United States and Canada by individuals, leaders, managers, professional organizers, coaches and corporate trainers, helps improve focus, organization and productivity in the workplace.

Chris has an impressive background in the financial services industry in sales, sales management and as an executive for a Fortune 500 company. Among other topics, he has spent years researching and studying both the mental and physical aspects of getting and staying productive - primarily for his own use. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, February 21, 2009
I highly recommend Being Productive to anyone who is looking to get more out of what they do each day. Chris focuses on simple ideas that get to the source of unproductive behaviors and habits. Things like multitasking, overloading, perfectionism, and indecision are all covered in this book. Personally and professionally I have grown and gained a lot of peace through applying the simple methods in this book. It's not a 5 step program to this...or a 14 easy step process to that; but just a collection of simple ideas that will help you change the way you think about what you do, and how you do it. Chris' writing style is short and to the point. His stories and analogies are interesting and insightful. This book is well worth the time and money you spend on it. It has really helped me!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
"Being Productive" by Chris Crouch, breaks many of the previous rules, teachings and theroies that have been developed by Corporate America. It takes a simple approach get one thing done at a time and forget the concept or invention of multitasking. The examples are simple and can be incorporated into your daily work and personal habits. Make sure you get a few copies when you get yours, you will need to get them for your boss and the owners or if your the owner get it for your managers so they can get something done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Demystifying Productivity, August 20, 2009
By Mortaza Zainaleain (Memphis, TN USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Author Chris Crouch has taken a totally new and refreshing point of view on productivity in his "being productive" book. He has looked at the various aspects of productivity and the mentality behind them. When applicable, there is explanation with example and the systematic approach of how our brain analyzes the need for executing various tasks to illustrate the how and whys of logic supporting our approach toward productivity at workplace and at home. For the first time we have a book that explains the logics for a solid productivity program. A smart, short, simple and to the point book that is fun to read and easy to understand. Well done!

1.0 out of 5 stars very disappointed
I thought it would be more clinical, giving strategies, personality types, etc. but it's a bunch of anecdotes that I really don't feel like wading through.
