Product Description

Critical Incident Management shows you how to respond effectively to any incident. The book focuses on first responders and initial actions, the areas typically overlooked by police agencies and the ones most criticized after the fact.

About the Author

Vincent F. Faggiano is a retired commander from the Rochester (NY) Police Department. He was responsible for the initial development of the BowMac Critical Incident Response training programs, both for first responders and executive command post managers. He has delivered these programs to thousands of law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and elected officials in the United States and abroad.

Thomas T. Gillespie (1947-2004) was the former Director of the New Mexico Department of Public Safety and Training Division. During a 14-year span beginning in 1990, Tom conducted over 400 critical incident training programs in 36 states, training over 8,000 emergency response personnel. Tom also co-authored Police Use of Force: A Line Officer's Guide.
