About the Author
Alan Tutt wants to empower YOU!
Born in southern Illinois during the mid-60 s, Alan grew up in a lower middle-class family with traditional values. One of those traditional values was that there never was enough money, and that you had to work hard for anything you got. This belief led to a lifetime of struggle and hardship, culminating in a life on the streets in Kansas City during the late 80 s.
It was during this time of his life when Alan discovered the concept that our beliefs control our destiny. Although difficult to grasp at first, Alan persevered until he saw results from his mental conditioning work being reflected in the world around him. This did not come natural to him, and was the result of several years of trial and error. When asked why he kept going, he says, There was too much smoke to be without a fire somewhere. I read story after story about how others were able to get results from doing mind work so there HAD to be some truth to the matter.
What Alan learned during those years of research and experimentation revealed certain foundational conditions upon which the common techniques depended. It wasn t enough for someone to do affirmations or visualizations; there had to be other factors in place first. When these techniques work well for someone, it s because these factors were already in place. When the common techniques don t work, it s because these factors are not in place.
In 1993, Alan started sharing his discoveries with others. First in small groups that met at each other s houses once a week, and then later in more formal settings. In 2003, he started his first website to bring what had become the Keys To Power system to the world. Other websites followed as part of his mission to empower the world, one individual at a time.
Alan continues to experiment with new ideas and refine his materials. His blog, where he posts articles he s written and discoveries he s made, is at AlanTutt.com.
One of the new ideas Alan has explored in recent years is the concept of conversational hypnosis. Since hypnosis is well-known for it s ability to change beliefs in a very short period of time, and conversational hypnosis is a system to change other people s beliefs without them having to enter into any sort of trance, this suggests we may be in a semi-hypnotic state all the time! Alan s experience in this new field has been recorded in the Keys To Power Persuasion course, and is currently being used as a basis for exciting new techniques of self-empowerment.
These new self-empowerment techniques are the central focus for a new book, Choose To Believe, due to be available in July 2008. This new book promises to be Alan s best work yet. Shortly after the release of his new book, Alan will focus his time and energy on presenting workshops based on the material.
