5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Book!, February 25, 2009
This is an excellent book; I am from Peru and reading this book and looking at the pictures with my kids brought me a lot of memories. Each page has both English and Spanish descriptions; I am bilingual and I am raising my children bilingual, too: this book help me to keep my culture and my language alive. The pictures are very nice and clear, the narration takes you to the very place... you feel that you are climbing those amazing mountains and places: Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu, Putucusi, wonders of the world.
This is a good gift for all my friends... and a perfect way to let them know about my country and its beauty. Thank you, Tracy Foote.

    5.0 out of 5 stars LET'S GO UP, January 27, 2009
Let's Go Up! by Tracy Foote is a clear, concise guide to one of the new wonders of the world. It brought back memories of my own journey to Machu Picchu tracing the footsteps of Hiram Bingham. Looking at Foote's photos of "the ladder to the sky" on Puntucusi makes me realize all over again why I didn't attempt it. The views from the tops of both Puntacusi and Huayna Picchu are breathtaking and make me regret not at least giving it a try. I'm glad Foote made the climb for all of us.
