Margaret Lee Lyles has a broad and varied personal background, and it shows through in her book. It addresses the potential conflict some might see between religion (trusting God) and reiki (doing it yourself), and she offers thoughts about reiki that I have seen nowhere else.
Her historical background of reiki also is quite detailed and interesting.
An aside: I loaned this book to my mother, who has kept it and shared it with her friends. She refuses to give it back.

This book has got to be a God-sent answer to prayers of Christians struggling to reconcile their beliefs and the practice of Reiki. I know of no other book which I have read puts it across so clearly and yet so enjoyably. It tells how the wonderworking miracle power of God can work through all who are willing to be His channels. Simply a must-read for every sincere truth seeking, God-loving Christian who wishes to be a channel for God's goodness at this time and age.

Marge Lyles is a leader in education about Reiki and spirituality. She accepts flexibility of belief and wishes only to bring information and peace to those interested in reading her book. Please read the book for an awesome experience!
