Are you sick and tired of denial, denial denial? Do you crave to self actualize, no matter the risk? Pickhardt will help you gently, kindly but firmly to achieve this goal. His lyrical, hardcore, compassionate, brutal and totally on the mark word pictures of ourselves pretending to be what we know we're not, sometimes painfully expose us to clear vision and deep understanding. This experience is immensely liberating, but as Erich Fromm so eloquently put it in Escape From Freedom, it can also be scary as hell.
