Product Description
Now a daily, too!

He's doing a heck of a job, but hang in there-it's almost over! Much of the nation has been counting the days since the first inauguration of the president who said, "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."

Yes, there is hope-and now you can count down the days while enjoying:

- The best of Bush bloopers and blunders
- The indictments, scandals, embarrassments and audacity of the president's advisors, admirers (think Harriet), cronies, appointees (see "cronies") and strange bedfellows.

From the Back Cover
"In terms of timetables, as quickly as
possible, whatever that means."
-George W. Bush

Now, as quickly as possible, you too can count down the days to the very end of W's dubious reign ... hang in there, it's almost over!

3.0 out of 5 stars An End To the Reign of Error, January 18, 2008
By !Edwin C. Pauzer (New York City) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
I guess my good friend Sam is trying to make up for having sent me that atrocious book by Glen Beck by surprising me with the "George Bush Out of Office Countdown" calendar.

This one-a-day calendar shows all the misstatements, gaffes, wince-making quips and remarks that have come to be known as Bushisms. These are quips that make the vice presidential candidate character in "The Manchurian Candidate" look like a Fulbright scholar compared to Dumbya. There are some new ones, or at least ones I haven't seen before such as: "I'm looking for a good night's sleep on the soil of a friend." (Kind of makes you want to "soil" all over the man and make him happy, doesn't it)?

The calendar is desk-top with a red pop-out back or stand. In addition to Mr. Bush's misfired synapses, the calendar has the countdown. There is only one zinger for Saturday and Sunday, which are combined on one page.

While I appreciate my friend's gesture and will still be his best man (for the second time) this April, he was robbed. (I still wish he'd simply look at my freakin' wish list and start from there)! This is a savvy entrepreneur's attempt to squeeze eleven cents out of a dime as most of these calendars have been out almost every sorry year of this man's arrogancy. To Sam's credit, he thought I would like it, and I do, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

I will not tear out the calendar pages because one day this may become a collector's item like playing cards from Pan American World Airways, a Mickey Mantle baseball card, granny glasses, or the pet rock. It is a keepsake, a memento to remember that I lived through, so far, the worst president in our history whether he goes to war with Iran or not, and that I have a great friend.

If you have been incommunicado from civilization, this calendar is five stars worth of glorious mirth. If you've read or heard the verbal whammy six times, the most you can muster is a three-star smile.

Fittingly, the last entry is January 20, 2009. It reads: "I hope you leave here and walk out and say, 'What did he say?'"

Finally, our president has said something profound and worth immortalizing.

366 and a wake-up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Counting Down to the End of an Error, December 25, 2007
This is a standard sized desk calendar in the "one a day" format. Each page contains the days left until W is gone, a Bushism (his bizarre quotes) and the date and day. It starts with January 1, 2008 and ends on his last day in office. The calendar is funny, and is a wonderful gift for anyone who can't wait until this reign of insanity is over.

We wonder where they got the fabulous quotations of our inimitable Prez. Very funny calendar. The count down cheers us up too.
