Product Description

The #1 bestselling wall calendar across America...

He's doing a heck of a job, but hang in there--it's almost over! Much of the nation has been counting the days since the first inauguration of the president who said, "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."

Yes, there is hope-and now you can count down the days while enjoying:

- The best of Bush bloopers and blunders
- The indictments, scandals, embarrassments and audacity of the president's advisors, admirers (think Harriet), cronies, appointees (see "cronies") and strange bedfellows.

About the Author

Deb Werksman was the publisher and co-founder of The Quayle Quarterly, a political satire magazine. Werksman has been interviewed on hundreds of radio shows and on such national media as the Phil Donahue Show, Dick Cavett, CBS This Morning, NPR, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The LA Times, all the newswires, and People Magazine. When Quayle left the White House, Werksman went on to become an editorial manager at Sourcebooks, where she has edited such books as You Know You're a Republican/Democrat if... and the forthcoming How to Win a Fight with a Conservative. She is the editor of the George W. Bush Out of Office Countdown calendar and handbook, and says "W., you're doing a heck of a job."

5.0 out of 5 stars 5-4-3-2-1......, December 16, 2007
By Sebb "Sebb" (Wellesley, MA United States) - See all my reviews
"it purely reflects a lack of respect for the office of the President"

This is hysterical! I bow down before the regal office of the President and humbly pay my respects to the divinely inspired election that brought this incompetent to power!

Having a ceremonial and unelected head of state (like the UK) doesn't seem such a bad thing - you can get all patriotic about the Queen, and give Tony Blair heck for all the things he gets wrong without someone saying you're showing a "lack of respect for the office of the Prime Minister'!

Jan 20 2008, I can't wait.....

Sebb

5.0 out of 5 stars good stuff, January 15, 2008
I'm not a huge fan of making the president look stupid, but this calendar is still funny. The quotes from GW are insane. And I like the countdown on each day

5.0 out of 5 stars Count Down to the End of an Error, December 25, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a wall calendar which counts down to the end of the Bush reign. Each month contains an interesting photo of Bush with a humorous quotation from the man himself. Open, it measures about 24"long by 12" wide and the bottom section has the blocks for days of the week. Each block includes the number of days left and many contain quotes which demonstrate the mangled language the man uses. A funny calendar, sure to please any one who is counting down the days till this insane reign is over! Buy it, laugh over it, and pray we never have another POTUS like him.
