Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Bishop Joseph Perry (Chicago) says of this poetry: "Kathryn betrays her mystical gifts to reach conversation with God and his saints in ways every heart aspires. From the deep recesses of prayer comes her verse reaching for Heaven!" This volume, beautifully illustrated by Victor KyNam, a seminarian from Vietnam, wraps timeless truth in a post-modern voice that pulls you in - penetrating and on the edge. "Only a few poets have been Catholic. Deeply Catholic. 24/7 Catholic. And so we come to Kathryn Mulderink, a Catholic poet of extraordinary gifts... These poems mirror our pilgrim journey to the Cross. We begin from Hearts of Stone. Along the way we begin to reach out, Leaping with the Heart. As we approach the living Christ we sense the Beating Heart of God" (from Marty Barrack's Foreword). Stephen Hand says they portray "a depth, insight and knowledge that is increasingly rare." Carol O'Reilly says, "Awesome! This lady blesses the environment around her, weaving golden ageless beauty into others' days."

5.0 out of 5 stars The works of Kathryn Mulderink, February 9, 2005
Ms. Mulderink's honest prose is always a deeply joyful perspective of our life in Him. "To Sing You Must Exhale" invites us to rest a while in the steady Love that never loses sight of each of us. These beautifully crafted verses are worthy of reading aloud to one another; the exquisite illustrations by Victor KyNam make it doubly a gift for mind and soul.

5.0 out of 5 stars To sing you MUST exhale, November 15, 2004
Wow! Kathryn has brought a very deep subject down to an understandable level, in which we find new avenues to approach our loving and merciful God. Through life's trials and joys Kathryn reveals her very soul to us and allows us to explore our relationship with God more deeply. Thank you for bringing to light this beautiful poetry.
