Dare to be Amazed!, June 10, 2005
I'd like to recall for you a dream I once had. I dreamed that I lay on my back in the middle of the woods, gazing at the stars and counting them one by one. As I lay, I enjoyed the wilderness sounds and beautiful trees. Even though the forest was thick, I was afforded a wide-open view of the sky.
Suddenly, the moon enveloped the entire sky. It was crashing towards the Earth and its entry into our atmosphere gave it an illuminating, orange glow. Though the thought sounds terrifying, I was not afraid because subconsciously I knew there was no impending danger. I basked in the intricate texture of the moon and the indescribable detail of its terrain. I could see it so well because it was now directly in front of me rather than perched into the sky, thousands of miles away.
This dream was a product of my subconscious and imagination. I was only privileged to this experience because unlike during daily activity, dreams are limitless and not hindered by our laws of physics. I thought that only during sleep would I be able to envision such fantasy with my eyes...until now.
In Daydreaming: The Art of Slawek Wojtowicz, I was astounded with the fascinating visions that existed upon each and every page. Artist, Slawek Wojtowicz, has an unbelievable eye coupled with the ability to harness the dreams that only my subconscious could produce. Not only can Wojtowicz see them within his mind's eye, but he can also create them through computer graphics and sometimes just acrylic paints! His unique combination of photography, graphics and artistic ability is absolutely breathtaking. Wojtowicz has redefined ART.
Whether you are science fiction guru, a graphic artist, an appreciator of art or just person, like myself, who loves something new and refreshing, Daydreaming is a wonderful book.
*Total Eclipse almost mimicked the personal dream I described above, however, *Waiting For Heisenberg has to be my favorite. My wife loved *Castle in the Sky and my three year old son loved *Lucky Kaa (because he loves dolphins). Daydreaming can turn your coffee table into a new age art museum. It is a wonderful conversation piece because each page provokes an imagination that we normally ignore in our `busy' everyday lives.
Daydreaming: The Art of Slawek Wojtowicz displays the art of the future. It is a wonderful book full of imagination, intricate detail and need I use the word again, vision. Within its pages are Picassos' of the 23rd century. I recommend it to any person that lives in the physical world but dreams beyond the stars.

Window to a whole new world!, August 3, 2005
New to the world of science fiction, I was totally fascinated by the pictures and in awe that Slawek has such an elaborate imagination about a world that never existed for me until now! I thoroughly enjoyed learning about his love of science fiction as a boy growing up in communist Poland, again another world I appreciated a glimpse into. The detail and colors in his work are breathtakingly beautiful! I shared this book with my son, who is an artist, and was delighted as he was gripped by each page and was keenly focused on the tutorial. I highly recommend this book!!

Captivating Images, June 26, 2005
I'm not the typical sci-fi reader, but once I picked up "Daydreaming" I couldn't put it down. The picturescapes on one page led me to the next; they evoked a sense of the familiar and the fantastic simultaneously. I wasn't as interested in the technical side of their creation. It was the inspiration, the depth, detail and coloring which took my breath away.
Slawek Wojtowicz is an artistic force to be reckoned with. I look forward to his future work, both in writing and computer imagery.
