5.0 out of 5 stars Rich, you DID IT!, June 1, 2005
By L. Ekker "Guiding Directors through the Visua... (Hollywoood, California: Screenland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I met Rich when we worked together on a commercial he wrote about a year ago. We spent many happy times in the post suite hearing about his exploits with some very nice Nigerian fellows. He brought in a sheaf of his emails once and I read several out loud to the room full of clients and co-workers. I had trouble reading them, not becasue I was educated in America, but because they were so damn funny I couldn't see through the tears! I could not believe the depths to which both he and his Nigerian pals would sink to get a mere million. He told us all that he was going to get the manuscript published soon, and we politely smiled, gave him a "heh heh..." and averted direct eye contact. You never know what will set these guys off! Well, he did it! I am proud of you Rich, and I bought the book very soon after it came out, so cross me off the hit-list, okay? Really... I did. No, REEALLY! Okay, I will show it to you. Meet me at International Airpot in Nigeria, in the VIP lounge next to the goat pen next Tuesday and I'll prove it to you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Way, way funnier than TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, March 28, 2005

WARNING: This book is funny. Damn funny.

Mr. Siegel takes on several Nigerian internet con men by beating them at their own game. His tactics are both wickedly smart and wickedly funny.

So be prepared. You will laugh out loud. People will wonder what you are reading. They will want to check it out. Then they will laugh out loud too and try to take the book from you.

Don't say you weren't warned.

5.0 out of 5 stars HILARIOUS AND TOPICAL!, March 4, 2005
A very funny book of actual emails the author exchanged with real con artists over the Internet! It's laugh out loud funny --Siegel goes to amazingly imaginative lengths to con the con artists, making them believe stories that are increasingly more and more outrageous. A great read which I enthusiastically recommend to anyone who likes to laugh. --A SATISFIED CUSTOMER
