Product Description
Twelve years ago, the secret pact of three Florida teenagers ended, shattering their lives forever. Now, over a decade later, fate has reunited this love triangle. Brinna Chase’s life has turned upside-down. The solution to her immediate problems comes in the form of Zack Merrick, who offers her a job and a place to live for the summer. But can Brinna live under the same roof with the man she once loved? Zack isn’t the same man she remembered. A tragic accident robbed him of the use of his legs, leaving him wheelchair bound, embittered, and disillusioned. Brinna’s life becomes more difficult as she tries to distance herself from Zack. It becomes further complicated by Mason, Zack’s younger brother, who could never live up to his brother’s image. His long obsession with Brinna and obsessive need for revenge threatens to destroy all three lives for good.

2.0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately bad, February 9, 2007
By sharkmaiden 316 (Saint Louis, MO United States) - See all my reviews
This book had a really great premise: woman forced by desperate circumstances to move in with bitter, and disabled, former flame. Unfortunately, Ms. McCann couldn't carry it off. Her writing lacked richness and depth, certain plot points were unclear or never really developed, and I could not relate to any of the characters. From a stylistic standpoint, it was a disaster. While I am always eager to patronize up-and-coming writers, I'll think twice before purchasing another by Sandee McCann.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disgusting woman, August 25, 2008
By Amazon Reviewer (London, UK) - See all my reviews
This author is a disgusting woman who abandoned her six young children, saying she was going on a short vacation, never to contact them again. The poor children thought they were dead, while she started her new life (and writes in her biography about how "proud" she is to have had the "courage" (read:cowardice) to start a new life.) What a disgusting, revolting monster.

1.0 out of 5 stars A fine example of bad writing, September 12, 2008
Sandee McCann can't write. She should find another line of work. Given that this woman abandoned her six young kids to a life of hardship (they grew up with only one piece of furniture), so she could move to England in a selfish pursuit of fame, I suggest she find work as a garbage collector. She can start by taking all her books to the dump.
