Editorial Reviews

Product Description

I have learned in this lifetime that listening-really listening to the opinions and feelings of others can help one to glean a whole new perspective on life's situations and circumstances. I have also learned that God reveals His will for us through three key elements-through His Word (the Bible), other believers and the local church. We must focus special attention to all three of these elements in order to reap the benefit God wants us to have and to move forward and become all that He wants us to be. As you read the verses contained here, I hope you will examine them closely with recognition that God's love flows freely from my heart to yours. It is my greatest hope that somewhere along the pages of this book; God will reach down and present a rich, warm blessing especially for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wisdom for Everyone, January 21, 2008
Based on a personal collection as written in thoughtful prayer, The Significance of a Dream by Frances S. Seymour contains messages of Christian inspiration for all facets of life. Chiefly based on simple and metric poetry, the style is earthy and truthful, even plain, yet always holding to Christian truth of victory. There is never any difficulty in understanding the message.

Various pages are given chiefly to a set of scripture followed by a correlating story for point of focus and reflection. The author's ability to use all five senses magnifies her message of inspiration even if there are forced metric passages.

The book eventually progresses to a more mature voice of experience. An assertion begins to speak as perception to the world broadens. The collection gains at this point as various political arenas are pointed out within sacred circles.

To this end, there is credence and substance beyond the typical reflective inspiration. Seymour's eye of experience offers wisdom for everyone.
